JESSICA KATE
Jessica Kate’s devotionals and romance novels will make you laugh, cry, and snuggle closer to God. She sees far too many people (herself included) who say they believe in God’s love and power, and then get laid flat by discouragement. But no more! She’s passionate about page-turning devotionals and novels that blend vulnerability and humor with some bunker-busting truth bombs.
Jess hails from six generations of Australian farmers (yet still can’t back a trailer straight), and dreamed up her first books while milking her dad’s cows. With little ongoing interest in cattle herself, Jess kicked off her career in small-town journalism, before moving to a regional city and finding her home in corporate learning and development. She cut her teeth writing devotionals as a founding member of a church plant, where (over a decade later) she now volunteers as a youth leader.
When she’s not working her at day job or writing ‘God stuff’, Jess pens Aussie/American enemies-to-love romance novels, including Love and Other Mistakes, A Girl’s Guide to the Outback and Drive You Crazy, plus several short romances. Why Are All My Boyfriends Fictional? is her first non-fiction release.
Jess lives in sunny Queensland, Australia, in a house full of good books, good friends and good food—plus her new puppy, Lucy. She’s a proud auntie to a growing number of small humans, and is often found travelling rural Australia to visit her large extended family.

“Original, heartwarming, full of lovable characters amid a fast-paced plot. Romance readers will love the bicontinental adventure of a sassy, strong-willed woman going across the ocean to win back the Aussie man who holds the key to her career dreams—but also, as it turns out, so much more.”
