NYT bestselling guest on the StoryNerds podcast

NYT bestselling author Rachel Hauck is on the StoryNerds podcast.

New York Times bestselling romance author Rachel Hauck has kicked off the first episode of the StoryNerds podcast, which I co-host with fellow romance author Hannah Davis.

Rachel, Hannah and I discussed books and their film adaptations, and Rachel’s royal romance which became a Hallmark movie.

Episode 2 has also just released, featuring Aussie book blogger Rel Mollet discussing ‘comedy in fiction’ and the possibility of a Princess Diaries 3 release!

You can listen to StoryNerds on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, regular podcasting apps or this link.

Hobbits Vs Mad Max and Other Vital Interview Questions

Sassy inspirational romance author Jessica Kate

I got to take part in an author interview series over on the new-and-improved Australasian Christian Writers blog last week!

Hop on over to learn my fascinating opinions regarding koalas vs kiwis, my hometown’s (in)famous festival, and a fun fact that few readers know about me.

New author pics!

Super excited to get some terrific author pictures from my friend April at April Photography Studios. My holiday project is to get them up on the website properly!

Love that April was able to make me feel comfortable, captured images that feel like ‘me’, and made it a fun evening. 🙂 Thanks April!

A pinch-me author moment

Every time I see my book cover and name on a book blogger’s site, it’s so surreal.

This week it happened again, with a shout out from fellow 2019 debut author Toni Shiloh on her blog: https://tonishiloh.wordpress.com/2018/12/14/fridays-sales-releases-giveaways-12-14-18/ .

Thanks Toni! And thanks to everyone who’s been sharing info about my book!

Bring on 2019! 😀

Book 2 title reveal!

Romantic comedy 'A Girl's Guide to the Outback' by Australian inspirational author Jessica Kate

Here’s a peek at the still-unofficial blurb:

Kimberly Foster needs help from the last man in the world who would give it.

She and Samuel Payton fought so much during their three-year stint as colleagues that they now reside in different halves of the globe. She’s still the business director of the Virginia-based youth ministry that Sam founded, while he’s back at his family’s farm in rural Australia.

But Kimberly can’t find a suitable replacement for Sam, and the ministry is in trouble. She needs him back. What she doesn’t know is that the Payton farm’s finances are scarier than statistics on Australian spider bites.

She and Sam strike a deal: if she can use her business savvy to save the farm, he’ll return to Virginia and recruit and train his replacement.

Soon Kimberly’s on the edge of the Outback, working more closely with Sam than ever before. Can she protect his family’s legacy, the ministry, and her heart?

Can’t wait to share this book with everyone! It comes out only six months after Love and Other Mistakes, in January 2020.

It’s been so much fun getting to mix it up with an American heroine and Aussie hero!
