Wanted: your ridiculous/funny/embarrassing stories

couple_silhouette

Gathering inspiration for book #2: do you have any anecdotes about ridiculous newlywed fights? πŸ™‚

As a single gal myself, I plan to put my imagination to good use, but it would be awesome to be able to draw inspiration from some real-life couples.

I’m totally willing to offer my own anecdote in exchange, but fair warning, most of mine revolve around:
1. Gross-out farm stories
2. Funny stuff from my journo days
3. My weird brothers. (Love you boys!)

So share your stories, your friends’ stories, that-weird-lady-from-down-the-street’s stories!

If you’d like to share, shoot me a message at jessicaeveringhamwriting@gmail.com.

Writing is always a team effort. πŸ™‚Β Can’t wait to hear from you!

Hating Jeremy Walters is finished! (For now, at least)

end of HJW

The current draft of Hating Jeremy Walters is written, edited, and flying through cyberspace on its way to agents.

Yay. πŸ™‚

It’s been close to two years since I started work on it, five months since I began intense work on the second draft and editing. So glad to see some results! There are sure to be further edits in the future, but it’s amazing to have an entire book from ‘chapter one’ to ‘the end’.

Now that I have a chance for a break, I can finally clean my house, cook food, and watch season 3 of Arrow. πŸ™‚ There are also a lot of beach weekends in my near future.

But we all know that even though I’ll be having a short ‘break’, I won’t be able to resist planning my next novel (or three), and watching/reading tonnes of stuff and reverse-engineering it to figure out what made it awesome. Can’t wait!

Thanks for your support everyone, and if you haven’t checked out the back cover copy yet for Hating Jeremy Walters, it’s in the post below.

Enjoy!
