I just found out that my manuscript Hating Jeremy Walters is one of five finalists in the My Book Therapy Frasier Award for unpublished authors!
I’m absolutely stunned; the best I had hoped for was to make it to the second round.
Now my entry will be judged by Tamela Hancock Murray, literary agent with Steve Laube Literary Agency, and editor Ami McConnell, VP, Editor-in-Chief at Howard Books, a division of Simon & Schuster.
The winner will be announced at the American Christian Fiction Writers conference in Dallas in September.
I’m so super excited, and now I have to think about if/how I can get myself from Queensland, Australia, to Texas!
Congratulations to the other four finalists, Megan Menard, Linda Davis, Tamera Kraft and Jan Cline and I might see you in September! 🙂
